Tell President Obama and the Senate to Save the Clean Air Act

The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to gut America’s most important air pollution law, the Clean Air Act. If the biggest polluters and their allies in Congress get their way, the Environmental Protection Agency will be prevented from implementing the Clean Air Act to reduce dangerous carbon dioxide pollution that will permanently alter our climate.

We need the Senate and the president to stand up to big polluters for our nation's cornerstone air, environmental and public health protections, including the Clean Air Act. And the Center for Biological Diversity needs your help now.

Please take just one minute today to call President Barack Obama at (202) 456-1111 and your senators at (202) 224-3121. Let them know how important this issue is to you, and tell them to do the right thing and stop any and all moves to repeal, weaken or delay the implementation of the Clean Air Act or any other bedrock environmental laws.

Then, please forward this message to your friends and family, post it on Facebook, and let us know you were able to make the call. Don't let the president and Senate cave in to big polluters and their congressional allies.

The best time to call is during regular business hours in Washington, D.C. You may need to try more than once to get through. Calling is best, but you can also send a message by filling out the forms below.
