Send a Message to Obama on July 22: Stop Keystone XL
It's time to take to the streets to stop Keystone XL. The proposed 1,700-mile pipeline will transport up to 35 million gallons of oil every day from Canada's tar sands -- relying on one of the dirtiest energy sources in the world.
If approved, Keystone will destroy pristine habitats, dirty key water resources, hasten the impending chaos of climate change, and directly threaten at least 20 already imperiled species. Help us put an end to this environmental nightmare before it's too late.
Join the Center for Biological Diversity, the Sierra Club and other allies on Monday, July 22 as we rally outside the Organizing for America Summit at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Center staff, as well as Frostpaw the Polar Bear and hundreds of activists, will be there in force. President Obama will be speaking to supporters inside, while outside we'll be sending a clear message: Keep your promise on climate change and reject Keystone XL.
Please join us as we raise our voices against this disastrous project. RSVP using the form below.
