Where: 191 E. Toole Ave., Tucson, AZ 85701
The Earth2Trump Roadshow is coming to Tucson on Jan. 7.
The roadshow is rallying and empowering defenders of civil rights and the environment to resist Trump's dangerous agenda. Stopping in 16 cities on its way to Washington, D.C., it will bring thousands of people to protest at the presidential inauguration.
We need you there. And we need your friends, family and activist networks. Please take a moment to RSVP.
The free shows will feature national and local speakers, great musicians, and an opportunity to join a growing movement of resistance to all forms of oppression and all attacks on our environment. We must stand and oppose every Trump policy that hurts wildlife, poisons our air and water, destroys our climate, promotes racism, misogyny or homophobia, and marginalizes entire segments of our society.
At each show, you can:
Featured musicians in Tucson will include Casey Neill and Lyla June. And notable speakers will include Naelyn Pike, 17-year-old spokeperson for Apache Stronghold; writer, photographer, and activist Jes Baker (aka The Militant Baker); City Councilwoman Regina Romero (who will read a statement on behalf of Congressman Raúl Grivalva); and Isabel Garcia of Derechos Humanos. This event is cosponsored by Great Old Broads, Advocates for Snake Preservation, Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection, Nasty People of Tucson, Cesar Chavez Holiday Coalition, Flowers & Bullets Collective, Mi Familia Vota, YWCA, and AZ Mining Reform Coalition.
Join us in your community to send a powerful, unwavering Earth2Trump message that oppression and environmental destruction will not be tolerated.
Please RSVP to let us know you'll be at the event in Tucson and share this page with your family, friends and social networks. We'll see you on Jan. 7.
