Join Us in Oakland for the Peoples Climate March

Climate Justice march

April 29 is the March for the Peoples Climate Movement in Washington, D.C., with sister marches taking place around the country, including in Oakland. This is a chance for all of us in the Bay Area to come together, hit the streets and raise our voices for action on the climate crisis.

The Trump administration has already started dismantling key climate wins from recent years, so we need to show massive opposition to this dangerous agenda. Center staff and supporters will be at the march in Oakland, and you're invited to march with us. This is a critical moment in history -- and to change everything, we need the participation of everyone.
What: Bay Area Peoples Climate March
When: Saturday, April 29 -- we'll meet at 10:30 a.m.
Where: Alameda County Courthouse steps (look for Center logo), 1225 Fallon St., Oakland, CA 94612. Together we'll walk over to the Lake Merritt Amphitheater, where there will be a rally and guest speakers (including Center for Biological Diversity staff) at noon. The plan is to surround Lake Merritt and process around the lake.

RSVP using the form on this page, and we'll keep you posted on updates. And if you can, please bring your own signs. We'll also have some to share.

If you have questions, email the Center's Clean Energy Campaigner Ash Lauth.
