You're Invited: Public Lands Defense Workshop, Sept. 14

Chiricahua National Monument

You're invited to participate in a free workshop on defending public lands in Bisbee.

Earlier this year the Center for Biological Diversity released Public Lands Enemies, a report identifying the 15 federal lawmakers most responsible for driving efforts to seize, destroy and privatize our public lands. Your senator Jeff Flake landed at #8 on that list.

In response to attacks on national monuments and other public lands, we must actively resist efforts by Sen. Flake and others to liquidate our natural and cultural heritage to line the pockets of their corporate friends.

To support this work the Center is providing a public lands defense workshop, free of charge. Participants will learn about the public lands seizure movement and receive training on how to fight back; the workshop will last about 1.5 hours and food will be available at the venue.

What: Public Lands Defense Workshop
When: Thursday, Sept. 14, 6-7:30 p.m.
Where: Bisbee Royale, 94 Main St., Bisbee, AZ 85603

There's no cost to join, but you must RSVP to reserve your spot using the form on this page.

If you have any questions please contact Ryan Beam, Center public lands campaigner, at rbeam@biologicaldiversity.org or (928) 853-9929.
