You're Invited: Public Lands Defense Workshop, Sept. 20

Grand Canyon

You're invited to participate in a free workshop on defending public lands in Prescott.

Earlier this year the Center for Biological Diversity released Public Lands Enemies, a report identifying the 15 federal lawmakers most responsible for driving efforts to seize, destroy and privatize our public lands. Your representative Paul Gosar and your senator Jeff Flake landed at #4 and #8 on that list respectively.

In response to attacks on national monuments and other public lands, we must actively resist efforts by Rep. Gosar, Sen. Flake and others to liquidate our natural and cultural heritage to line the pockets of their corporate friends.

To support this work, the Center has partnered with Prescott Indivisible and the Yavapai Chapter of the Sierra Club to provide a 1.5-hour public lands defense workshop, free of charge. Participants will learn about the public lands seizure movement and receive training on how to fight back. Food and drinks will be provided for free.
