Rally to Stop Fracking in the Santa Barbara Channel

What: Rally against offshore fracking along California's coast
Where: Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, 760 Paseo Camarillo, Camarillo, CA

Sea otters

Please join us for a rally on DATE in Camarillo to demand the Trump administration deny an application for offshore fracking.

In part because of the Center's tenacious work on offshore fracking, there hasn't been a frack off California's coast in more than two years. But that may change if OIL COMPANY gets its way. Just last week, OIL COMPANY applied for a permit to frack off platform X in the heart of the Santa Barbara Channel — home to sea otters and endangered blue whales.

With Trump's reckless dismissal of climate science, disdain for environmental protection, and recent executive order to dramatically expand drilling in our oceans, now is the time to stand up and resist OIL COMPANY's plans to frack the Santa Barbara Channel.

Using the form on this page, RSVP to join Center staff and local activists at this rally. We'll be there with signs and costumes, and you're welcome to bring your own too.
