10/10/10 offers an amazing opportunity to celebrate climate solutions at the local level -- and put the pressure on our leaders at the same time.

If you can, please join with Center for Biological Diversity in one of the following Global Work Party events on 10/10/10:

In Washington, D.C., participate in a White House Work Party and solar delivery. Join esteemed climate scientist Dr. James Hansen and others as we give President Obama a hand in greening the White House. Click here for more information.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, join us at gorgeous Muir Woods National Monument as we help protect habitat for the climate-impacted northern spotted owl. Meet at 10:10 a.m. in the main parking lot and bring your own lunch -- after lunch we’ll take a short hike to look for this amazing species. RSVP to Rose Braz: rbraz@biologicaldiversity.org or (415) 436.9682 x 319.

• In Portland, Oregon, join the "Roll Against Coal", a bike repair workshop and rolling rally around town. Visit http://www.350.org/roll-against-coal for more information.

If you're not able to attend the events above, you can sign up to create and host an event near you at www.350.org/oct10, or search for an event to join at www.350.org/map.

And remember, we can assist you in organizing something to help one of the 350 species impacted by global warming on our 350 Reasons We Need to Get to 350 website. Rose Braz, our Climate Campaign Director, is available to help you and provide more information. Email rbraz@biologicaldiversity.org or call (415) 436-9682 x. 319.
